In My Day… (22/06/2012)

Wake up before 5:45am challenge: Yeah, another day that I failed at this… 6am I was out of bed.
Water Challenge: Drank 1.5 litres before 5pm, 2nd day in a row!
Highlight of my day:  My strip of knitting (which will either be a scarf or eventually a blanket) is now 50cm long.  I also got some God inspiration for an awesome blog post (going to be published tomorrow)
Bible Reading of the day: Luke 8
Verses that stood out for me:

¹¹ “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. ¹² Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. ¹³ Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. ¹⁴ The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. ¹⁵ But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
²¹ He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice.”

5 Things I accomplished...

• Wrote a really nice long blog post (can be seen here on my main blog... http://fromacorntooak.blogspot.com 
• Cooked supper (Star Studded Hake )
• Finally bought clips to hang the curtains in my bedroom ( I've been using sheets since I moved in )
• Played with Zoey in the yard
• Did about another 2-3cm of my knitting - it is now 50cm long!
