In My Day… (27/06/2012)

Wake up before 5:45am challenge: I was up at 4:30am today.  First time in a week I was out of bed before 5:45am.
Water Challenge: My water challenge went down the toilet on Saturday when Zoey stole my plastic water bottle and bit holes into it.  I started it up again today.  I drank my 1.5litres!
Highlight of my day:  My main blog From Acorn To Oak has hit 11k page views since I launched.  I’m thrilled about that (it is a small sort of accomplishment I know, but an accomplishment all the same!)

Verses that stood out for me:

5 Things I am grateful for…

• My salary came through into my bank account today.
• The sun is shining during the day again and it isn’t as cold as it was last week.
• An internet connection so I can read God’s word online, stay in touch with friends, make new friends and do research.
• That my puppy slept right through the night and didn’t wake me up once to go outside (she’s getting good at that!)
• A washing machine so that I don’t have to do my laundry by hand.

5 Things I accomplished...

• Did some more knitting today, it is now 66cm long.  I need this strip to get to 150cm.
• Did a load of laundry this morning, which reminds me that I must bring it in now.
• Wrote a blog post on my main blog entitled: “Character Traits Of A Gentleman”
• Solved a problem that has been bothering me 2 weeks at work today, tomorrow is time to test my solution.
• Went to the bank to get money to pay Florence her salary, I didn’t leave it until tomorrow morning!
